Hotel Miranda in Hydra (Saronic Islands)

Originally built in 1810 for a wealthy sea captain, Hotel Miranda is a National Heritage monument protected by the Greek Ministry of Culture. The building preserves a fine collection of 18th and 19th century furniture, prints and paintings throughout its rooms. Some rooms feature old hand-painted ceilings made by Venetian artists.

Each room is decorated with antique furniture from the 18th and 19th centuries, offering either sea views or blooming garden views. The rooms are air-conditioned and include private bathrooms, with some suites offering large balconies or rooftop terraces overlooking the harbor. Guests can choose from double, twin, triple, or family rooms, including a two-bedroom apartment with a private rooftop terrace.

A homemade breakfast is served daily in the garden courtyard, surrounded by flowers and lemon trees. Located 250 meters from Hydra port and 500 meters from the main beach, the hotel is a five-minute walk from shops and restaurants. Hydra is a car-free island, and the hotel can arrange hiking tours with certified hiking guides in the surrounding area.
